    How Check-Ins Work in Y.O.D.O.

    How Check-Ins Work in Y.O.D.O.

Check-ins are the quiet heartbeat of Y.O.D.O. They are not alarms or constant reminders. They are gentle nudges that say, "You matter enough to be noticed."

    Here's how they work.

    Your rhythm

You decide how often check-ins happen.

    ✅ Daily

    ✅ Weekly

✅ Or a rhythm that feels right for you

This flexibility means Y.O.D.O. fits into your life, rather than the other way around.

    Responding

A check-in takes just a moment. A simple tap confirms you are present. Nothing more is needed.

    If you miss one

    Silence is handled gently.

✅ First, Y.O.D.O. tries again, giving you another chance to respond

✅ If silence continues, your Delegates may be contacted

✅ Delegates can then confirm if you are safe, if you need more time, or if something is wrong

    What your circle sees

Delegates are not flooded with details. They simply see that you have missed a check-in and are prompted to step closer with a call, a message, or a visit.

You can also choose whether Delegates see who else is part of your circle. By default this list is private, but you can make it visible if you prefer transparency.

    Why this matters

Check-ins are not about supervision. They are about presence. They make sure that silence never stretches unnoticed, and that the people who care about you know when to step in.

It is peace of mind for you, and for them.

    Check in. Live on.
