How referral codes, points and reward discounts work at Y.O.D.O.

Referral codes
- You receive your personal referral code once your first payment succeeds, not when your free trial starts.
- You can share your code with anyone, through any channel.
- Self-referral is blocked. A code cannot be used by an existing or returning subscriber.
- You can earn points on up to 20 qualifying referrals per rolling 12 months, which equals 200 points.
- Beyond that cap your code still gives your friend their discount, but stops earning you points. We tell you when the cap is reached.
Earning points
- 10 points go to you and 10 points to the person you referred.
- Points qualify 30 days after the referred person's first successful payment: one full paid month, clear of the 14-day cooling-off period.
- Nothing is awarded at signup, at trial start, or on first payment alone.
- Between signup and day 30 the points show as pending, displayed separately from your confirmed balance.
- If a referral lapses through refund, chargeback or cancellation before day 30, pending points are simply removed. Confirmed points are never clawed back.
Reward ladder
- 100 points unlocks 10% off.
- 200 points unlocks 20% off. Gifting becomes available at this tier and above.
- 300 points unlocks 30% off.
- 400 points unlocks 40% off.
- 500 points unlocks 50% off, the maximum. There is no higher tier.
Using rewards
- Points can be spent against any Y.O.D.O. plan: Standard, Premium or Supreme.
- Redeeming a reward spends the points.
- Points expire 6 months after they are earned. Oldest points are always spent first.
- Your account shows your confirmed balance, your pending balance, progress to the next tier, and your points expiry dates.
Gifting rewards
- Gifting a reward to another person is available from 200 points upward.
- Once you gift a reward, you cannot use it yourself.
- Gift codes are single-use.
- Anyone with the code can redeem it, whether they are new or existing Y.O.D.O. users.
Rewards and the partner discount
- Discounts never stack.
- Where a reward discount and the 15% partner discount both apply, the higher of the two is used.
- If you joined through a partner link you still earn and accumulate points normally, so you can build past 15% on the ladder.
- At renewal we tell you which discount was applied and why.
Privacy on referral screens
- We only ever show the other person's first name.
- We never show their email address, their plan, or any billing detail.
- We never show the reason a referral did not qualify.
Important notes
- Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Y.O.D.O. may change or end the referral and rewards programme with reasonable notice.
- Abuse of the programme may result in removal of points, rewards or referral codes.
- Rewards are non-transferable unless gifted through the official gift feature.
