What "deleted" means
"Deleted from our active systems" means removed from our live databases and no longer accessible in Y.O.D.O. Limited retention in backups and logs may apply as described in our Privacy Policy.
Important Notice
Once data is removed from the platform, it cannot be recovered. We recommend downloading your data before account closure or if approaching any removal deadline.
Account Closure Request (Standard)
Anchor: Closure request date
User initiates account closure through settings
30-day grace period
Permanent deletion after 30 days from request
User can reactivate during grace period by signing in
Immediate Deletion Request
Anchor: Request confirmation
User explicitly requests immediate data deletion (GDPR Art. 17)
48-hour export window before deletion begins
Data deleted after the 48-hour export window. User is notified and given the opportunity to export their data before deletion proceeds.
Irreversible action. Subject to legal retention exceptions (e.g., tax records, audit logs). If an export is not completed within 48 hours, deletion proceeds.
Inactive Account
Anchor: E0 (Inactive status date)
Account has no Active subscription (including no Free Trial and not within the 7-day payment-resolution window) AND no Active Delegate relationship with another Account Holder
30 days from inactive status (E0)
E0+30 days: Account and data removed from the platform. Subscription cancelled and future renewals stopped.
Both conditions must be true for 'inactive' status. Acting as a Delegate for others protects your account from deletion. If deletion occurs, we take reasonable steps to stop future subscription renewals.
Non-Response Deletion
Anchor: T0 (Last scheduled check-in)
Account Holder fails to respond to check-ins without resolution
60 days from last scheduled check-in (T0)
T0+60 days: Account enters deletion queue. Subscription cancelled and future renewals stopped.
Any Account Holder response resets the timeline. If deletion occurs, we take reasonable steps to stop future subscription renewals.
Trial Expiration
Anchor: Trial end date
14-day cardless trial ends without subscription
Account transitions to non-subscription state
Only becomes 'inactive' (E0+30 deletion) if no active Delegate relationships exist
Subscribe or accept a Delegate invitation to prevent inactive status. Acting as a Delegate for others protects your account
Subscription Cancellation
Anchor: Cancellation date
User cancels their paid subscription
Access continues until end of paid period, then non-subscription state
Only becomes 'inactive' (E0+30 deletion) if no active Delegate relationships exist
Resubscribe or maintain Delegate relationships to prevent inactive status
