Built around privacy and boundaries
Special Delegates have strictly limited visibility. This is intentional.
What you receive
- A Partner account showing every Account Holder who has named you as a Special Delegate.
- The current status of each Account Holder (active, in verification, passing confirmed).
- A direct notification after a passing is confirmed and verified.
- The Account Holder's name, email and phone (as shared by them) when that notification arrives.
- The ability to acknowledge receipt.
- Solicitors and notaries only: optional role in passing verification, if enabled by the Account Holder.
What you will not see
- Private Messages or drafts.
- Check-in content or individual Check-in responses.
- Location, health or device data.
- Billing or payment details.
- Any involvement in Check-ins, Care Pauses or disputes.
How it works
Four simple steps from registration to your first notification.
You register your organisation
Register your organisation in a few minutes. Once approved, you can be named as a Special Delegate and are ready to receive verified notifications.
A client names you as their Special Delegate
When a client adds you as their Special Delegate in Y.O.D.O., you appear in your Partner account straight away.
Y.O.D.O. verifies any reported passing
If a passing is reported, Y.O.D.O. conducts its own verification review. Documents are checked for plausibility and consistency. No notification is sent until the review is complete.
You receive a verified notification
You receive the Account Holder's name and contact details as shared by them. You acknowledge receipt and take appropriate action within your professional capacity.
One exception: Solicitors and notaries can be enabled by the Account Holder to assist with passing verification. This is optional and applies to no other category.
A written receipt for your files
When you acknowledge a verified Passing notification inside your Partner account, you can download a written acknowledgement as a PDF or print it for your records. The receipt is GDPR-minimised: it contains only what is needed to evidence the notification, the verification status, and your acknowledgement. It does not include Messages, Check-in content, or any other Account Holder data outside the limits of the Special Delegate role.

Already been nominated? If a client has already named your organisation in the Y.O.D.O. app, we have emailed an invitation to the address they provided. Use that invitation to register. You can then keep that email or replace it with a preferred address for future notifications.
